Gold is used to hire heroes, buy XP and reroll the shop. You gain gold at the end of every round. Your current gold is capped at 100.
Earning[ | ]
Base Gold[ | ]
You start the game with 5 gold and earn 5 gold per round.
Interest[ | ]
You gain 1 gold for every 10 gold that you had at the end of the preparation phase. Once the combat phase has begun, you may spend any gold you want and still be rewarded according to what you had at the end of preparation. Maximum interest is 3 extra gold per round, so 40 or more gold will still grant 3 interest gold.
Selling heroes[ | ]
Heroes you have bought can be sold. The higher the tier and level of the hero you're selling, the less gold refund you'll get.

Victory[ | ]
You gain 1 gold for winning a round against a player. This gold is counted towards interest, so if you had 19 gold when a combat phase began and you won that round, you'd get 2 interest gold.
Win Streaks[ | ]
Winning consecutive rounds will earn you a win streak. You will earn the following gold at the end of each round until your win streak ends.

Win streaks end:
- Once it reaches 8 consecutive wins.
- You lose a round.
Loot Rounds do not reward win streak gold.
Loss Streaks[ | ]
Taking damage in several consecutive rounds will earn you a loss streak. You will earn the following gold at the end of each round until you loss streak ends. Loss streaks end when you win a round against a player.

Spending[ | ]
Hiring heroes[ | ]
Gold is used mainly to hire heroes from your Shop. Each hero is priced accordingly to their tier. Tier One heroes cost 1 gold, Tier Two heroes cost 2 gold and so on.
Re-rolling[ | ]
Gold can be used to re-roll the Shop. When you re-roll, the shop fill all its slots with new heroes, any hero left in the shop will be replaced.
Buying XP[ | ]
You can pay 5 gold to buy 5 XP. You can do so in the shop or by clicking the button next to your avatar.
Other[ | ]
The following affect gold in some way:
Bounty Hunter 3 Star Effect: Bounty Hunter will generate 1 gold when killing an enemy hero.
Bounty Hunter 3 Star Effect
