Patch notes

Balance Update (11/7/2019)

General

  • Escape key now cancels some popups. We're gradually adding more and more support for this.
  • Fixed middle mouse button being used for the camera regardless of binding.
  • Fixed haptic feedback bug when dragging on mobile.
  • Added a mini-jail on hover in the shop, to quickly show the jailed heroes.
  • Updated Duos wanted posters.
  • Party UI improvements
  • Other miscellaneous UI improvements.
  • Added VO lines to more new heroes.
  • Music and soundscape improvements.
  • Memory usage improvements.

Gameplay

  • Fire is now lethal if the applier is an enemy.
  • Fixed a bug where Knights Knight ii.png would not get their bonus magical damage reduction when standing next to friendly knights.
  • Break no longer affects Alliances.

Hero changes

Anessix mini icon.png Anessix:

  • Martyr's boon icon.png Martyr's Boon:
    • No longer has a burst heal component, instead it heals over time.
    • Heal per second changed from 5 to 10 (per Underlord level).
    • Duration changed from 5 to 8 seconds.
  • Rejuvenating ritual icon.png Rejuvenating Ritual:
    • Replaces Rejuvenating ritual icon.png Arcane Ritual
    • Now reads: Martyr's Boon now delivers the first 50% of the heal immediately, and the rest over the duration of the spell.
  • Instant regret icon.png Instant Regret:
    • Duration changed from infinite to 5 seconds.

Arc warden mini icon.png Arc Warden:

  • Tempest double icon.png Tempest Double:
    • Clones have a -50% debuff to their attack damage.

Axe mini icon.png Axe:

  • Maximum Health changed from [1610, 3220, 6440] to [1851, 3703, 7406].

Bloodseeker mini icon.png Bloodseeker:

  • Armor changed from 5 to 0.
  • Maximum Health changed from [1000, 2000, 4000] to [1200, 2400, 4600].
  • Bloodrage icon.png Bloodrage:
    • Instead of reaching maximum attack rate at 20% health, Bloodseeker now reaches maximum attack speed at [25, 30, 35]% health.

Hobgen mini icon.png Hobgen:

  • Explosivo! icon.png Explosivo!:
    • Animation Length changed from 4.0 to 2.4 seconds.
  • Let's go crazy icon.png Let's Go Crazy:
    • Hype Cost changed from 100 to 85.
    • Now silences Hobgen.
    • Attack Range while under Let's Go Crazy increased to 8.
  • Fire break icon.png Fire Break:
    • Damage Reduction changed from 25% to 45%.
  • Feedback loop icon.png Feedback Loop:
    • With the new changes to Let's Go Crazy, we have brought back the old Feedback Loop: Super-Charged units gain mana from damage caused by abilities. Upon casting, they deal damage equal to the mana cost to adjacent enemies.

Lifestealer mini icon.png Lifestealer:

  • Attack Rate changed from [0.588, 0.625, 0.667] to [0.667, 0.714, 0.769].
  • Feast icon.png Feast:
    • Lifesteal percent changed from [3, 4.5, 6]% to [4.5, 6, 7.5]%.

Magnus mini icon.png Magnus:

  • Maximum Health changed from [1500, 3000, 7000] to [1875, 3750, 7500].

Pudge mini icon.png Pudge:

  • Meat hook icon.png Meat Hook:
    • Cooldown changed from [10, 10, 10] to [20, 18, 15].

Razor mini icon.png Razor:

  • Plasma field icon.png Plasma Field:
    • Minimum damage changed from 10 to 25.
    • Maximum damage changed from [50, 100, 150] to [100, 200, 300].

Troll warlord mini icon.png Troll Warlord:

  • Fervor icon.png Fervor:
    • Bonus attack speed changed from [15, 20, 25] to [8, 10, 13].
    • Max Stacks changed from [6, 9, 12] to [12, 19, 24].

Viper mini icon.png Viper:

  • Nethertoxin icon.png Nethertoxin:
    • Damage changed from [50, 100, 150] to [100, 200, 300].

Item changes

Force staff icon.png Force Staff:

  • No longer disabled by Break.

Helm of the undying icon.png Helm of the Undying:

  • As before, Break will prevent a unit with the Helm from entering Undying state. Now, in addition, if the unit is broken after the Helm activates, it will become targetable and killable again.

Alliance changes

Brute Brute ii.png:

  • Debuff to enemy attack damage changed from [15, 40]% to [30, 70]%.
  • Damage on debuff being applied changed from [50, 100] to [80, 150].

Demon Demon ii.png:

  • When a Demon casts, now only allied Demons are silenced.

Heartless Heartless ii.png:

  • Armor debuff for enemies changed from [5, 10, 15] to [3, 10, 15].

Warrior Warriors ii.png:

  • Armor buff for allied warriors changed from [10, 20] to [7, 20].
