Hobgen, Arson Aficionado, is one of four characters seeking to replace Momma Eeb as the Underlord of White Spire.

Hobgen generates 1.65 Hype Per Second (HPS), with an additional 1.20 HPS for each unit he's lit on fire. Any enemy Hobgen attacks is set on fire for 3 seconds.
Explosivo!

Hobgen launches a fireball at a target that deals 125 damage per level split evenly amongst all targets adjacent and setting them all on fire.
Notes:
  • Has no range limit.
  • The fire lasts for 5 seconds.
Super-Charged

Mana icon.png Hype Requirement: 40 Hype
Hobgen Super-Charges the closest friendly unit, setting them on fire and granting them 15 attack speed per level.
Notes:
  • friendly units under the effects of Super-Charged take damage from the fire status effect.
  • Physical distance is used to calculate the closest unit; non-diagonal units are prioritized over diagonal ones.

Hobgen is Silenced, his attack range is now 8, and gains Super-Charged and all its upgrades. Hobgen will continually switch targets to units that are not on fire.
Notes:
  • Hobgen is invulnerable and untargetable while casting Let's Go Crazy.

Hobgen's buddies throw 8 bombs in the battle field dealing 500 damage to enemies directly hit. Enemies caught in the explosion take half damage.

  • Each bomb has a radius of 1 cell.

Talents[edit | edit source]

Every five rounds, from rounds 10 to 35, one talent may be chosen before the battle starts. On round 20, an ultimate is chosen instead.

Whenever a Super-Charged unit dies, it explodes doing 20% of its max health in damage to adjacent enemies and setting them on fire for 5 seconds.

The cell of the fireball stays on fire for 5 seconds with a 10 damage per second per level effect on enemies standing in it.
Notes:
  • This damage effect is split evenly amongst all units.

The explosion no longer damages and instead drains 50 points of Mana or Hype.

  • Implosion causes Drain Bomb to drain 100 points of Mana or Hype.

Super-Charged units gain mana from damage caused by abilities. Upon casting, they deal damage equal to the mana cost to adjacent enemies.

  • Hobgen: Fixed Sticky Strike instantly killing units.

  • Friendly Fire damage is halved for units not in the cell the bomb hits.
  • Drain Bomb amount increased 25->50.
  • Adjusted timing of Friendly Fire so bomb damage is done when the bomb lands, not when it's launched.

October 24, 2019 Patch

  • Super-Charged: Hype cost lowered 50->40.
  • Passive hype generation 1.5->1.65, hype generation from units on fire increased 0.75->0.95.
